About Fiona Aliaj

Masters Student Intern, B.A., M.C. in progress

Fiona brings warmth and deep compassion to her practicum role at Little Oaks Psychology. She is currently completing her Master of Counselling at City University of Seattle and holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Alberta. Fiona is passionate about supporting children and families through evidence-informed, strengths-based care, and has developed a strong foundation in understanding children’s behaviour through a social-emotional lens.

Fiona works with children, teens, and adults seeking counselling. She approaches her work through a developmental, attachment-based, and culturally informed lens. Fiona has a particular passion for helping children and adolescents develop their social and emotional skills in engaging, meaningful, and developmentally appropriate ways.

Fiona values collaboration and believes therapy should be a safe, empowering space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported. Her approach is guided by client-centered and cognitive-behavioural principles and is tailored to meet each individual’s unique needs and goals.
