Raquel Karam

Counselling Team Lead - Counselling Therapist - Neurodiversity Consultant

Raquel offers services in both French & English.

Raquel is designated as a Canadian Certified Counsellor with the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association. She is currently completing the Doctor of Counselling and Psychotherapy program at Yorkville University. She also holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University and a Bachelor of Secondary Education from the University of Alberta. Her previous experience as a teacher connects with her counselling practice since she carries a strong belief that psychoeducation is both an important component of preventative care as well as a conduit for impactful behavioural change. Further, Raquel brings a unique perspective having grown up in Edmonton’s Francophone community as well as in a multicultural household.

Raquel creates a safe and empathic space for people to gain insight into the challenges they are facing while using a collaborative approach to work towards attaining their desired goals. She actively seeks to understand her clients within their socio-cultural context while being aware of the hidden stressors that may be affecting them including past trauma. Raquel has a particular interest in supporting academic and business professionals (e.g., teachers, mental health specialists and front-line workers) as they navigate their unique challenges. Her approach is influenced by person-centered therapy and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) along with mindfulness practice.

Raquel's services are available in-person and online, in both French and English, to clients ages 12 and up.


Abanti Tagore

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Abanti is a Registered Provisional Psychologist and holds a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology and Master of Science in Neuroscience. She offers assessment and counselling services to children, youth, and adults for a range of mental health and learning concerns at Little Oaks Psychology.

Abanti has substantial training and experience with psychological assessments via psychometric roles in clinical and research environments working with children, adolescents, and adults. Additionally, she completed her graduate level internship providing psychotherapy to children, youth, and families experiencing depression, anxiety, ADHD, autism, and other mental health concerns. She utilizes evidence-based practices and employs various psychotherapeutic constructs such as Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, and elements of Narrative Therapy. Abanti strives to emphasize client strengths and provide opportunities for growth in a safe, understanding, and compassionate environment.

Abanti also has extensive research experience in cognitive deficits and executive functioning in youth utilizing brain imaging technology and psychological testing.

Abanti offers flexible appointments with daytime, evening, and some Saturday availability.


Caelin Richmond

Registered Provisional Psychologist

As a Registered Provisional Psychologist, Caelin is committed to helping individuals realize their strengths and successes. With a Master of Counselling from Athabasca University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Linguistics from the University of Alberta, Caelin has a background in psychological theories and therapeutic approaches.

Caelin has experience working with families providing individualized strategies for supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and behaviour challenges. She also provides flexible, individualized interventions for ADHD, autism, anxiety, and depression using evidence-based practices such as acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy, and narrative therapy. She hopes to create a space where the client can feel heard, validated, supported, and cared for. In this way, she empowers her clients to work through their challenges and to utilize the skills learnt in session in their everyday lives.

Caelin is dedicated to providing quality care and looks forward to working with you. She offers appointments with daytime and evening availability.


Elise Anthieren

Registered Provisional Psychologist | ADHD & Behaviour Specialist

Elise completed her Master of Counselling at the University of Lethbridge. Prior to that she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Psychology, completing a thesis on the effect of music training on early reading skills. Elise worked for 8 years in early intervention services working with children and families facing behavioural and cognitive challenges while she attended university.

Elise is passionate about working with young children and families to help them feel more connected and confident in their relationships. She works with clients to empower them to build skills to face many challenges, such as developmental delays, ADHD, anxiety, autism, depression, OCD, ODD and parenting coaching. Elise also has experience working with trauma survivors. Her approach to counselling is person-centered and focusses on expanding existing strengths as well as learning about the client’s unique life experience. She draws on cognitive behavioural, and emotion focused therapy to guide her work. She is also open to using art-based and play interventions to help clients express themselves. Elise primarily works with children, teens, parents, and adults seeking individual counselling.

Jaime Gaber

Canadian Certified Counsellor | Neurodiversity Consultant

Jaime Gaber, MSC, is a Certified Canadian Counsellor and neurodiversity consultant with over 15 years of experience providing counselling, strategies and support for individuals of all ages with neurodiverse challenges, including, Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), learning disabilities, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), anxiety and depression.

Jaime works closely with clients to help them develop a variety of tools and strategies for learning, executive functioning, emotional regulation, coping with stress and anxiety, social skills and achieving life-long success. Jaime also works with parents to help them learn ways to support their child’s social, emotional and behavioural challenges.

She has experience working in schools, post-secondary institutions, hospitals and non-for-prophet organizations. Jaime uses a goal-oriented and solution-focused approach, guided by cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Jaime’s services are currently offered online, telephone or in-person in Calgary. 


Larissa Predy

Registered Psychologist | Clinical Supervisor | Clinic Director

Larissa currently supports supervisees (provisionals and interns) through collaborative services and takes only occasional clients at this time.

Larissa has over 15 years of experience working with individuals with developmental disorders in various settings. She has a strong reputation in comprehensive psychological assessment and intervention, specializing in ADHD, Autism, learning difficulties, exceptionalities, behaviour problems, personality, and parenting concerns. Larissa is a PhD candidate in cognitive developmental psychology, with a specialization in psychopathology and executive functioning across the lifespan.

Larissa provides clinical supervision, consultation, and CAP supervision for provisional psychologists. She is an adjunct academic colleague with the University of Alberta’s Department of Educational Psychology, and supports student internships from the University of Calgary’s School & Applied Child Psychology program, as well as counselling programs including the University of Lethbridge, Yorkville, and City University.

Sheri Gallant

Specialist Teacher | Certified Behaviour Analyst

Sheri is an Education Specialist and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst who is passionate about supporting children and youth with exceptionalities and diverse needs, their families, and their teaching teams in practical and effective ways. She has had the honour and privilege of assisting many learners and their families over the past 20 years. She has extensive experience providing individualized programming, strategies, and training for learners who are impacted by ADHD, Autism, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual challenges, and those struggling with learning and behaviour without a diagnosis.

She believes individualizing supports are key to promoting growth and behaviour change, allowing clients to develop and share their unique strengths and interests with their community.

Sheri offers flexible appointments with daytime, evening, and Saturday availability.


Stephanie Zottl

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Stephanie completed her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Alberta. In addition to her work at Little Oaks, Stephanie has been working with children, teens, and families experiencing neurodevelopmental and neuropsychiatric disorders in the inpatient tertiary care programs at the Royal Alexandra Hospital and the Glenrose Hospital as a Child and Youth Development Specialist.

Alongside the support and guidance of her supervisor, Stephanie works with children, teens, families and adults seeking counselling. Stephanie’s areas of interest include providing developmentally appropriate, attachment-focused supports for children and teens experiencing various behavioural and cognitive challenges and working with clients through a person-centered approach guided by acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and cognitive behavioural strategies.


Nicole Jedrzejewski

Registered Psychologist | Certified Behaviour Analyst

Nicole is a Registered Psychologist and Board Certified Behaviour Analyst with 10+ years of experience providing consultation and behaviour intervention services for children and adolescents with developmental disabilities and behavioural difficulties. She has experience supporting individuals in a variety of settings including providing schools-based services, clinic-based services, and in-home services. Nicole is passionate about supporting children and adolescents in assessing their individualized needs and supporting them to reach their true potential. Nicole completed her Masters in Clinical Psychology in 2012 from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Nicole provides assessment services for children and adolescents in the areas of ADHD, ASD, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, and social/behavioural concerns. She will also be providing parenting and behaviour sessions as well as sharing her knowledge in this subject area by hosting online workshops occasionally!


Kaitlin Ritchie

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Kaitlin completed her Master of Education through the University of Calgary, receiving training and supervision in both school and private settings. Prior to that she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Psychology, completing her thesis on the effects of music training on memory skills.

Kaitlin offers assessment and counselling services for children, adolescents, and adults, and works with clients experiencing a variety of learning, behavioural, and mental health concerns. Kaitlin believes that the assessment of both strengths and weaknesses is paramount to helping individuals overcome their challenges and achieve success. She enjoys working closely with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to better understand each client's unique profile.

Yasmine Boulos

Registered Provisional Psychologist | Neurodiversity and Behaviour Consultant

Yasmine completed her Master of Education in School and Applied Child Psychology at the University of Calgary. She completed her first and second practicum placement at the Integrated Services for Education (ISE) Clinic at the University of Calgary, and her final internship placement at Little Oaks Psychology. Yasmine has experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and providing evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, and adults. In addition, Yasmine has five years of experience working with youth who experience(d) trauma, and delivering evidence-based strategies in a school setting for students with different learning and behavioural needs.

Yasmine utilizes evidence-based interventions and behavioural therapy methods to provide individuals with various tools and strategies for learning, executive functioning, and emotional regulation. She works with clients of all ages with neurodiverse challenges such as ADHD, learning disorders, and other behavioural concerns. She is passionate about providing individualized support to promote change and growth.


Danielle Mattson

Registered Provisional Psychologist

Danielle is currently a doctoral candidate in the Doctorate of School & Child Psychology and is a registered provisional psychologist in Alberta. She has experience providing evidence-based psychological assessment and intervention services in a variety of different settings, including schools, non-profit clinics, and private practice. Her research has focused largely on supporting healthy development in youth with neurodevelopmental differences and has included examining cognitive, academic, behavioural, and social-emotional functioning in such individuals.

Danielle firmly believes that everyone is capable of flourishing. She also believes that in order to do so, an individual must truly understand themselves. Accordingly, Danielle takes a holistic, strengths-based approach to helping her clients recognize their own unique abilities, needs, and challenges. She strives to empower her clients to identify and achieve the goals that are important to them using compassion, acceptance, and respect.


Erin Cromwell

Canadian Certified Counsellor

Erin completed a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology degree from Yorkville University and holds a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta and a Masters of Science in Mental Health in Children and Young People from the University of Edinburgh. Along with her work at Little Oaks Psychology, Erin Currently works as an Emotional Behavioural Specialist with Edmonton Catholic Schools. Erin works as a member of a multi-disciplinary team providing school-based intervention services to students who display emotional and/or behavioural challenges to create the most effective learning environment for all students. 

In collaboration with her supervisor, Erin works with children, teens, and families seeking counselling. Through the development of a positive therapeutic relationship, Erin aims to establish a safe therapeutic environment that is conducive to empowerment and growth. Erin works from a person-centered approach guided by cognitive behavioural strategies and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), and works collaboratively with clients to help them work towards a deeper sense of connection, clarity, and self-awareness.

Christina Elder

Master’s Level Intern Clinician

Christina is currently in the practicum phase of her Master of Counselling program at City University of Seattle's Edmonton Campus. With a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Alberta and six years of experience as a teacher with Edmonton Public Schools, she recognizes the importance of individualized support and the remarkable capacity for growth inherent within every person.

Christina acts as a collaborative facilitator in her role as a therapist, assisting people as they embark on their journeys of transformation and self-discovery. She values providing compassionate understanding, unwavering support, patience, respect, and a welcoming environment because she believes these traits are crucial to helping clients achieve meaningful progress in therapy.

Under the guidance of her supervisor, Christina works with individuals of all ages, including children, teenagers, and adults. Her therapeutic approach is person-centred and strength-based, incorporating acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) alongside cognitive behavioural strategies to provide comprehensive support. Christina looks forward to joining clients on their paths of healing and personal growth, and she is ready to provide compassionate support while assisting them in working towards their goals.


Kelci Letkeman

Master’s Level Intern Clinician

Kelci is in the practicum phase of her Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology program through Yorkville University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology degree from the University of Alberta. Beyond her work at Little Oaks, Kelci actively contributes to her community as an Emotional Behavioral Specialist with Edmonton Catholic Schools. In this role, she provides invaluable support to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges within the school environment as part of a multi-disciplinary team.

In her counseling practice, Kelci works under the guidance of her supervisor to provide support to individuals of all ages. Her approach is anchored in a person-centered, strengths-based framework, recognizing and nurturing the unique qualities and resources of each individual. Kelci also integrates Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) strategies as she supports each client on their therapeutic journey.

Kelci cultivates a warm and inviting atmosphere, prioritizing values of authenticity, respect, and connection in her interactions. With a genuine commitment to creating a safe space for her clients, she fosters an environment where individuals feel valued and heard.
