ADHD Supports in Greater Edmonton Area

Having a family member with ADHD can feel like a challenge some days; and so to can having ADHD! As a member of the Board of Directors with ADHD Edmonton, I thought I would write a short post about the services available in the Greater Edmonton Area through ADHD Edmonton.

First and foremost, ADHD Edmonton offers FREE SUPPORT GROUPS! And has just added a new and exciting group for Young Adults who may have been recently diagnosed or are dealing with life transitions like school, work, and relationships, or even navigating the world of physicians and medication. Find more info about the Young Adult Group here.

ADHD Edmonton is a non-profit registered charity that offers information and support to those living with ADHD in the Greater Edmonton Area through awareness, education, and resources. We offer facilitated support groups for parents of children with ADHD, adults with ADHD, and partners of adults with ADHD.

There is a guest speaker series that offers insight, advice, and hands-on workshops throughout the year. Check out the calendar each month for dates of speakers and group meetings.

The website offers information for parents and individuals about several topics, including education supports, policies, and educator resources. They also provide links to several resources in the community.
